2011 in pictures

So just like you, I am sure, I was quite busy in December. December is always so busy. Preparing for Christmas Eve, all the shopping for food and sweets and alcohol not to mention the gifts - which can take ages! Especially if you're like me and want to find the perfect gifts (as possible) for the ones you care for. I don't just want to give them the first and easiest thing, I want it to be as personal as possible. As soon as Christmas is over here, we have family dinner and then we have to prepare for New Years Eve the days after that. During December there are also all the Christmas parties - yes December is a very busy month, social wise - business wise for make up artists, not that much.

So since I've been quite inactive I'll show you the last month of my 2011 in pictures.

In the beginning of December I went Christmas shopping with my parents. Lookie what I found in the DVD section. SONS OF ANARCHY SEASON 1 finally hit the stores here. Go figure I already have season 1,2 and 3. Waiting for 4 to launch and for 5 to hit the TV in the States so I can watch it online. Way behind Denmark!

Had to throw my fav flats that couldn't be saved any longer. They couldn't be glued anymore. It bothered me but I got a new pair.

As some of you probably know I lost my grandpa in the end of October to cancer. Mom and I visited him at the graveyard Christmas Eve to lit a candle for him. Though he died weeks before Christmas it was still really hard to go through this holiday without him. I don't really realize he's no here until I visit his grave and see his name on the stone. It becomes more real when you see it printed and then you realize that he's not coming back. When I'm visiting my grandma it's just like he's at the hospital 'cause we were used to him going in and out. I miss him so much.

During that past 40 days I've lost 8 kg, therefor I needed to go through my clothes and see what I fit, couldn't fit and simply didn't wear anymore - it took days to be honest.

And this is how my closet looks like right now. My girlfriends tell me I got so much clothes, yet I can never find anything to wear - others that know that problem?

At the same time while going through my clothes I got to put all my nicer clothes, especially dresses and skirts in mothproof bags.

Purple dress has been my grandma's then my mother's and now it's mine.

Then I had to re-organize my shoes into my bedrollers. These are some of them. I believe there are about 90 pairs there.

23rd December it was time to decorate the Christmas tree. This is before.

This is after on Christmas Day. The gifts are just for my mom, dad and myself from us - except three from my grandma that is behind the tree. Yes, we spoil eachother during Christmas.

My little, gorgeous girl. She's going 3 next month.

And now it's time for the presents I got.

Foot warmer. Bonus gift. I have low blood presure so I suffer from cold feet and fingers therefor my mom gave me this.

Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Now that I've seen the movies (I know only the first part of Breaking Dawn), I've decided I wanted to read the books. From my parents.

Sushi tins from Tupperware. Bonus gift from my parents.

Home made pads form warm things and money from my grandma. I'm not into that at all but it was sweet of her.

Padded socks from my parents. Bonus gift. These are great for cold feet too.

SONS OF ANARCHY SEASON 3 from my parents. Yay!

Formed as men! They got asses but no penises - I guess the kids should be able to use them too without too many questions?

That was my gifts. If you question the "bonus gift" thing, it was things I got that I didn't wish for.

December 29th I visited my friend and attended their family Christmas dinner - as her date. We're both single, it's a deal we have. And we had this little game with gifts and I got these cute smoothie cups!
