Blonde doesn't mean stupid

This is my last week of being a blondie. I've been thinking about dying my hair in another color for quite a while now and now I finally a time THIS Saturday at my absolutely amazing hairdresser!
I've been blonde since March and I liked it for about 2-3 months then it just started getting annoying. I got the color I wanted, I got it silverish and it was awesome the first month I had it - then it started bugging me. My mom is a redhead and I have obviously some of her genes, thank god I'm not a redhead though (though must say my mom is a beautiful redhead - it's not extreme), so I got red pigments of course, and that causes the hair to become yellow when you bleach it. Bottom line, if your hair is yellow when you bleach it, it is because you have a lot of red pigment in your DNA. Use a purple hair shampoo or conditioner to neutralize the yellow and you will get the blonde hair you wanted. Be careful with the amount of shampoo though.
Not only does the bleanching damage my hair to the MAX so does the purple shampoo I'm using to neutralize the yellow. My hair was like hay. No joke. I quit using the shampoo when I finally decided that this was the last time I was a blonde and bought LOTS of damage controlling shampoos and conditioners, and now my hair is almost back to normal.

So to honor my blonde hair, here are some pics:

The beginning;

In between;

And finally the color I wanted;

The other blonde I'm with in the pictures is one of my besties. You can find her blog here . It's written in Danish.

Besides I made my point of showing that just because you're blonde doesn't mean you're dumb, stupid or easy, which was one of my goals.

That awkward moment when someone else is wearing the same

What is Hollywood without feedback? What is Hollywood without some action? And what is Hollywood without war on the red carpet?!

The music is apprently not the only thing that Miley Cyrus and Nicole Sherzinger have in common. Apparently they both adore the black leather dress from the designer Thomas Wylde.

Miley wore it to the opening night of The Last Song in March last year, while Nicole wore it at the GQ's Men of the Year Party in Los Angeles in November. Clearly Miley was ahead of Nicole and wore it first therefor she isn't a "copycat" however I think Nicole wears it better. Her shape, her curves make the dress much better. The dress comes of more sexy on Nicole's body than Miley's - sorry Miley.

Who do you think wears it better?

Get your heart on!

Just got the news an hour ago from a friend of mine that my all time FAVORITE band SIMPLE PLAN is coming here to April next year! Am I stoked? Yes definitely so!

They've been my favorite band since I was 14 and this will be the first time I'll get to see and meet them! FINALLY!! So you'll probably meet a overly happy Anne the next five months. Now I warned you, haha.

Where's the snow?

Met at work at 11 am today and was off at 4 pm - what a lovely day. One of my colleagues finally found out that she knows my parents and her only comment was: "Then I can better understand why you're so sweet! Your mom is so sweet!" She went to school with my mom and apparently went clubbing with both my parents - small world!
It got cloudy and kind of dark at 2 pm already, the others and I were pretty sure that it would start snowing (well I was hoping). I love snow and it's almost December, and to tell the truth I don't really get in any Christmas mood if we don't have any snow no matter how many presents I wrap or how much Christmas music I listen to - I. Need. Snow. Besides Christmas is just always better when it's white, don't you agree? So far in my twenty years of living I only remember one year that we didn't have a white Christmas and that was quite horrible to be honest. So, that's definitely one of the best things about living in Denmark, we're able to have snow! I'd like to live in Vegas or LA one fine day (and will!), so I'll definitely miss the snow, for sure.

Forgive me Father for I have sinned.

These babies are on their way to me!
Hello Christmas, Hello New Years!
Don't think there's a better way than step into the new year in new heels.

Shopaholic?

Ever wonder if your credit card will start burning from being used too much? Problem is solved with online shopping which I'm a big fan of. I shopped a lot last month, kind of needed it, and now I made up my mind - no more shopping before Christmas shopping.

Take a look:

Products for my hair; Osis+ Schwarzkopf, dusting powder & L'Oreal Silver expert. So glad I bought the Silver shampoo now that I have come to the conclussion that I'm getting brown hair next time I'm going to the hairdresser. Blonde was fun, I got it the way I wanted it and it ruined my hair. I don't want that anymore besides I miss my dark hair and in stead of dying it black immediately, I thought I would try out being a brunette - and then I've been every single shades. The shampoo, unused, is for sale btw.

Make up from E.L.F. I love it! And as a make up artist I can really recommend it. Though it's cheap it's not bad - it's excellent and the shop owners are so sweet! The foundation (second from left, behind) is my absolut favorite foundation. It's perfect, leaves the skin smooth, protects against the sun AND it's so easy and lovely to work with - it's in my make up suitcase as well. Try it out!

Wedge shoes. If you know me personally you know that I'm not in need of shoes (I got like 89 pairs of shoes) however I've been looking for a pair like these for about a year, and finally I found some I liked!

And these were for work! I ruined my other pair :( used them way too much apparently.

I'm a big fan of fur and fake fur, and I fell completely in love with this fake fur hoodie when I saw it in H&M. Isn't it awesome?!

Ed Hardy is a brand that I absolutely love! Can't get enough of the tattoo inspired clothing. This is my second shirt though but there are so many more to come.

Accessories; Can't get enough of them especially not bracelets and rings. And I love studs and neon colors so tadar! Awesome aren't they?

 And now for the electronic things I got!! Sons of Anarchy season 1+2!!! Now again if you know me personally you KNOW that I'm a big big, HUGE fan of SOA! I simply adore and love and admire this show and the writer's, Kurt Sutter, way to write and describe and create this excitement that he does in every single episode. If some of you don't know the show it's a show about a motor bike club gang (SOA) and you follow the members through thick and thin. One of the reasons why I love this show so much is because I grew up around motor bikes too. My dad has been driving one since he was 17, so since I was born motor bikes have been a part of my life. My dad was a member of motor bike clubs as well along with my mom, and ever since I was old enough I have been driving with my dad, sitting behind him. Nothing gang about it though just pure hobby.

Watching this show made me realize I totally want and need a man who has a motor bike driver license and knows how to drive one, or else I'll miss it. I do know how to drive a motor bike and I have done it but I don't have a driver license, I prefer sitting behind the driver and relax, enjoying the ride.

Charlie Hunnam who plays Jax Teller is so hot btw.
And of course I had to get a SOA sweatshirt too!

Rad, isn't it?

Also bought Sex and the City 2. Love the show, love the first movie and the second as well. It was on sale, I just had to. I'm positive I got more shoes than Carrie does.

And a Danish christmas show that has only been shown ONCE in the TV and that I haven't been able to get out of my head ever since I watched it when I was a kid. Can't wait to watch one episode every single day from Dec. 1st to 24th!! "Christmas on the castle".

And then I shopped a little for christmas! Ribbons to make christmas stars. I'll show them to you before December, before I put them up. They're super cute!

And I got SHOES for my christmas tree! If I ain't going to have that then who will?! Aren't they cute?

And those balls and hearts. I have a big heart for Christmas and all the decorations. I simply love it! Christmas is my favorite holiday!

Alright so that was what I bought in my shopping spree mood - they come and go.

Whered you go?

After having a short conversation with one of my girls, I decided to move my blog to here from tumblr - since tumblr decided to change pretty much everything about their layout coding, besides I find blogspot a bit more about blogging than tumblr is - that's more photo showing. So if you were reading my blog on tumblr, hi! Thank you for following me to here! And if you didn't and are new, hi there and welcome! To make it short; my name is Anne, I'm a 20 year old make up artist and this blog is about me, my life, thoughts and opinions. I'm Danish but this blog will be in English since I have English readers.

If you followed my blog on tumblr, you will know that I haven't been blogging that much as of lately - I apologize for that. I've been busy with work and three weeks ago my beloved Grandpa died from cancer after being seriously sick for four months. He would have turned 80 a week ago, we hoped that he would get the big day but some times hope isn't enough - at least he's in peace now. The whole situation with my Grandpa, the last weeks that he was here and his death was really hard for me and I needed time to get through it, that's why I haven't been blogging much nor shown any sign of living. But here I am, doing alright and ready to get back on track.

I hope everyone has been doing good, and I'm looking forward to try out this site.
