Week #16 - Vacation almost over

It's Friday and my vacation is over by this weekend. It's going to be good to go back home again. I miss my family and my little dog.

Today I went into town to a job interview. It only took about 2 minutes and I'm not quite sure how it went or how it will turn out being. Oh well I might have something else going on - if I'm lucky.  Only time will tell.

So Wednedsday I went to a concert with Simple Plan - as I've mentioned a whole lot of times. And it was a blast! They were absolutely as great as I had imagined. And such sweethearts the guys are! Met them at the soundcheck and backstage later. Had a good conversation with Jeff (guitar), Chuck (drums) and David (bass) - and later Sebastien (guitar). I'm not going to put any pictures from the concert here 'cause I'm a very copywrite kind of person and always afraid that people will jock my shit - hence why I'm not showing you my work or ideas here on my blog (my website is on the way, you'll be able to see my work there). But I will show you this.

David was an absolute sweetheart and huge flirt. If you ever get the chance to go see these fabulous guys DO IT! You won't regret it that's a promise.

Do you like my scarf btw? I got done with it just before my vacation started. Neon yellow - I love it. The SP Crew digged my scarf, David was more into my black wedge shoes - I totally like him, he's into shoes!

So right now I'm packing while listening to music and the TV is showing Sex & the City: The Movie. I'm alone, my friend is visiting her family and will be back tomorrow when I'm leaving - hopefully we will get to say hi before I'm going with the train. Actually I think she's coming with the train I'm going with. So yeah what are you guys up to tonight? Anything exciting? Anyone going partying?

There in the black plastic bag are my new shoes! Can't wait to get home and let them join my collection!

Week #16 - Vacation

Long time no see - or talk. The last couple of weeks where you haven't heard anything from me, I've been working a whole lot - some days more than what was planned. And now I got vacation. However though I got that I still have a lot of things to do this week.

I'm in Copenhagen, visiting one of my best friends - Nina. Haven't seen her in over a year, 13 months or so. Last time was when I was going to a concert with My Chemical Romance and that was in March last year. And this week I'm going to a concert again! Coincidence? No. Mostly I plan my vacations and days off if I'm going somewhere or attending something.

I'm going to the concert Wednedsday. I don't know if any of you remember I talked about Simple Plan a while back? Well now I'm finally going to see them and I'm super duper excited! I got this lovely mail last Friday that I'm going to meet them as well - I swear that the little 14-year-old Anne inside was going absolutely crazy. It's going to be amazing I'm sure of that. Those boys and their music helped me calm down when I was a little rebel of a teenager.

Anyways I came over here Saturday. Nina and I had talked about going clubbing but we then found out that she was going to work these two weekends that I'm here. Typical. So we're just chilling and having fun whenever she's home. I'm waiting for her right now actually. She should be off work now and on her way home.

Today, Monday, I went into the centre to look for a place where I can work when I start studying. If you don't remember I have mentioned that I'm going to start a hair dresser education simply because I want to become even better and more professional than I already am. So far I haven't found a job however one of the salons seemed interested and I'm going there tomorrow because the woman I was going to talk to wasn't there. So cross your fingers!

And I finally got done with my scarf! Knitted it myself and it needed to be done to this Wednedsday 'cause I'm going to wear it to the concert or through the day. What do you think?

Meanwhile while I was looking for jobs I did a little bit of shopping - it's vacation afterall, isn't it?! And I can't help myself.

I visited the new Walt Disney store that we got here in Copenhagen and I was AMAZED! Wow. What a breathtaking, exciting store. I swear I could have bought it all. I got all giddy and giggly when I entered it. Pretty sure the assistant found it funny 'cause she laughed when she welcomed me. Oh that's another thing, they welcome you personally at the door - never tried that before!

Fabulous - don't you think? They got a castle in there! Dolls, toys and teddies everywhere. Clothes and movies. Everything!

And then of course I found some new shoes. Actually I finally found some that I have been looking for for over a YEAR now. The perfect colored nude, platform heels. Love them! I got them as peeptoes - that's fine with me. I didn't care whether they were peeptoes or normal stilettoes. Not Louboutin - will get them. What do you think?
